Join LPLA for a free guided kayak paddle on the beautiful waters of Lake Pepin as we explore the growing delta where Wells Creek meets the lake. Launching from the a private property near the Florence Township Beach (Frontenac Beach), this two-hour outing offers a chance to experience the lake up close while learning about the history, health, and ongoing conservation efforts in the Wells Creek watershed.
As we paddle to the delta, local experts from the Goodhue SWCD and MN DNR will share insights into sedimentation, local conservation work, and plans for the creek. This is a unique opportunity to connect with the landscape and learn how community efforts are making a difference.
